Just got back from Australia. While driving from Townsville to Airlie Beach, we stopped to take a break at a rest stop near Bowen and a 57 Chevy pulled in. Red with a white top. Guy had a beard and was wearing a Route 66 shirt. He was gone before I could say hello. Car looked great and sounded good!
Any more about the car, 2dr post or hardtop, wheels etc to narrow it down for us locals, LHD or RHD? We have a good car culture all over the country but relatively small by comparison to yours with only 10% of your population.
It was a Hardtop. and was L/H drive. Guy had gray hair and beard. Can't remember the wheels. It happened so fast I wasn't able to take a pic or converse with the gent.
