    What a killer trip. That was an awesome trip for me to read thru. It had to be a total blast especially being able to share it with your wife . GREAT PICTURES AND COMMENTARY. I enjoyed it .

    I have tonnes more pics(not all '32's :D) but I could be here all day ..... I would like to say So-Cal put on a great display with Free In & Out Burgers if you wanted to line up , Cold Water and open doors . Alex X was there signing stuff and having a chat which was cool . Thanks Guys. After So-Cal we headed for Waldens Speed Shop which is only a couple of blocks above , they also run a Open House , great shop and again open doors and a cool drink which was great as it was Hot .

  6. Next Morning we were up early walking at LA Roadster Show Swap Meet , I have to say this crapped all over the Pomona Swap for Cool Stuff , lots of HotRod , Custom , Signs , bowsers , well all the candy really ...........sweet coupe eh!!

    We Booked the Hotel for the Afternoon so we could go back and get ready to fly out Sunday night , turned out to be a great idea as it was a HOT day and the other Passengers on the plane may not have been to happy ...............

    These guys (Shadow Rods) stayed here over the weekend also , he asked me to sit in this T and I laughed as they are SOoooo Comfortable normally , these things are Huge inside and bloody comfortable , amazing ...and a great looking car as well ....

    And that's about it , we flew out at 10pm Sunday night back to Australia to this , Freezing cold weather and ........

    I like to thank my Wife for letting me go Hotrodding around , LOTS , all the guys we met , especially Denise and Megan for showing us around a bit at Santa Maria and for Megan's great post that inspired us to go do this and everyone for the great comments , hope you enjoyed the trip ..............Cad.

    Thanks so much for taking the time to post all the photos and run us through your trip. Haven't been back since our first trip in 2000 and this is making me want to pack our bags and go and enjoy some hotrod stuff without the regulation problems we seem to be hitting.

    So cool this trip.
    I did in 2008 the same station but i did much less,because my wife got to much of hot rod :(
    I made 700 pictures ,i am pretty sure you did a few thousends :)

    Great vacation

    Maybe you need to do a checkist for those how wants to go there:D

    Man you Aussies sure know how to vacation!! You went to I dont know how many car shows,swap meets,cruises,museums,shop tours,sightseeing,aaaaaah!! When you all return to Cali I'm puttin in for my vacation and Pick me up!! Oh shoot, I forgot, you all take 4-6 week vacations and I only get 2 weeks....GOOOOGLYGAWK%#@*!!!

    I actually enjoyed running back through the trip but it takes some time loadin' all the pics. I must admit , seeing some of the cars with less regulations certainly let them have 'The Look' we desire .......MMMMMMMMMMmmmmm Dirt Trackers .......

    Thanks for taking the time to post your adventure. I'm glad you were able to see so many cool things and meet so many great people that make hot rodding in the good ol'USA so much fun!
