Hey all, we need your help.
Many of you that have been to the Continental club know our Favorite door man/ artist Rob Gasper.
If not, Rob is the man behind all the killer show posters you see hanging at the club. He is also the designer for the Heart spade club clothing line thats become so popular at the roundup. check out his stuff here:
    http://www.heartspadeclub.com/

Robs had some heath trouble of late, and like many artists he of course has no heath Insurrance. He will get all the help he needs from the club ,no dought, but he has a long costly road ahead.
Last week he was'nt feeling well and ended up in the hospital. They found he was suffering from end stage renal disease wich causes congestive heart failure. Basically he has this disease undetected since childhood, it slowly shuts down your kindneys.
He is now on dialasis and needs open heart surgery to repare a damaged valve in his heart. After that a kidney transplant.

How can you help you ask?

Our old buddys the Paladins are holding a benifit show at the Continental club this Saturday. Its a matinee performance form 3-7pm. A $10 donation gets you in and your money goes to help Rob.

Rob is a car guy. He bombs around in his super fast 65 ford, does amazing paintings of hot rods, loves bikes customs. It would be great to have a line up of cool cars out in front of the club for this show.
I'd love to take a picture to show Rob of all the cars.
    I'll see ya there.

Just an FYI.... When I added my amount to donate to the cart and went to pay, a $5.00 shipping and handleing fee was charged....???
Didn't know if you knew about that, thought that I would let you know.....

  5. sounds like a good cause, my Mom was just released from the hospital for congestive heart failure. Still very concerned for her.. On another note, I am typing this with a wicked hangover after seeing the Paladins play last night, and I wanted to say they are playing a great set so I hope you get the turn out to help a brother out...

I hate to hear anyone having health issues. I wish him to a speedy recovery, doing my donation now.

Big thanks to all you guys for your support.

The show was great on Saturday and the Paladins rocked as usual. Some dude called Sun Valley slim sat in on blues harp, he sure looked like Bruce Willis.

62buford rolled in from Cypress in his 29 A coupe, Good to see you Blake. Thanks

We made some good coin to help keep Rob above water in this trying time.

The best news was when Robs dad showed up to tell everyone Rob had been walking around his hospital room that morning, one day after open heart surgery! [IMG]

    Thanks again y'all.
The HAMB is an unbelievable place.

It was a good time for a good cause - I got a quick video clip of Sun Vally Slim's harp playing that I'll post on my website when I get a chance. Dude can play!
