yeah, all of a sudden I'm startin to think about sellin the 55 to find and build one. That car's killer

 

no but i will be chopping one next week... my buddy Stormin Norman found this lil hot rod sitting in a 10 X 12 tin storage shed last year after sitting for 30 years.

 

Those are so freakin cool.

 

I wouldn't chop it-it's already cool-and traditional-but it's not mine!

 

They make great firewalls, Scoob if you want one I know where the mother load is...

I found an Austin in Austin, TX. They have now made it into a trailside attraction.

This one was at GG's Indy this year.

 

Bantam roadster, built to look like a factory V8-60 job. Even had custom cast heads and firewall tag with the engine in the specs.

well, it's not a hot rod so much as a drag car, but you asked. i race this all the time.

 

While there's nothing wrong with going in the dirrection... NOT ALL AUSTIN BANTAM RODS NEED TO BE OVER THE TOP AND/OR GASSERS...

Here's a true hot rod roadster rocking a 1933 chevrolet 6... I'd love to see more pictures of this one too!
