- AUSTRALIA - What to see, where to go ?

Hey guys,
First of All thanks a lot,

I would have never expected to have so many things to do...
Too bad work wont allow me to leave this early in Jan.; some of the biggest shows on both sides of the country happen in a short period of time, for early Feb It was hard to choose... Kustom nats, Hanging rock show, Ballarat swapmeet... are on the list for another time

For now plans are to arrive in Perth around Feb12th and stay a few weeks -dont know how long for now, domestic flights arent booked yet-
attend the Big al's poker run, Twilight Cruise, Nostalgia drags... other upcoming show if I stay longer.
Then fly over to Alice springs and stay a couple of days around there.
Fly to Adelaide, and cruise the rental ricer threw SA,VIC,ACT,NSW, and QLD for the remaining time (at least one month), hit the local cruises and shows as often as possible. My deadline should be around April 7th, take off to Paris from Brisbane or Sydney. Man, what a shedule !!

I really should check the HAMB more diligently.

Just bumped into Romain at the nostalgia drags. I saw him checking out my car earlier when I wasn't near it, then he came up a bit later and we had a bit of a chinwag.

He was thoroughly enjoying the drags, but did notice that there seems to be a predominance of 50s, 60s and muscle car stuff and not so many hot rods.

I told him there are plenty of hot rods in Perth, but they're all too soft to race them and too cheap to go on organised cruises. (Apologies to all my hot rodding friends. )

He was heading down to Margaret River after the drags so I gave him a few pointers on where to go and what to check out.

One thing is for sure. He's going to learn what a REAL SUNBURN is. That boy is WHITE!!!
