I was wondering if anyone here has used the gl*** from Auto City Cl***ic in Isanti, Mn? Looking to put a new windshield in the 56 Vicky and wonder what the quality of the gl*** they sell is? Also noticed they sell the side gl*** kits as well. Thanks

got my widshield, back and side gl*** from them. At least for '57's, not too many choices on manufacturers anyway. fit on everything was good. Shipping gets expensive as it does with everybody on that front and back gl***, but if you live in an area with a major swap meet coming up, check with them to see if they are doing it...I had my windshield delivered to the Pate swap meet for 0 shipping!
I also got my gas tank and radiator from them. Good peaople to work with. My back gl*** does have some distortion marks from the tongs that hold the gl*** when it goes in the ovens for tempering, but I may have got some gl*** from their very first run on the back gl***, and since no one else at the time had it available, I lived with it, and actually wasn't sure when I made that decision if the seal would cover the distortions (it covered some, not all). Your windshield won't have those marks because the gl*** is laminated, not tempered.

Sanders had the best price on my windshield, which was nice. $372 and $150 shipping.

Auto City Cl***ic had the best price on my door gl***. They did send me the wrong vent gl*** initially. They sent 2 other wrong gl*** orders before they got it right. One first one I sent back, the last 2 they never even asked for. I'll have to measure up the pieces to see if anyone can use them.

I have bought several windshields from them. I always wait til they come to a swap meet, call ahead and make sure they bring what I need. Save about $100.

Literally right up the road for me. Hadn't heard of them before, but will probably buy a windshield from them this winter and try them out.

Thanks for the replies. I am going on a road trip very soon and will be going right by them so I figured I would save a ton on shipping and just pick it all up. They do have all I need in stock and I will just confirm with them prior to leaving. Thanks.
