#168 was Ferbnand Gabriel's Mors who was declared winner of the 1903 Paris-Madrid race that was stopped in Bordeaux - even though he arrived third. 168 was his start position which means he passed 165 or so cars and bikes on the way there. Furb, i'm not trying to be an ass but i always refer to the Frontenac as a Frontenac. A Fronty on the other hand is that wonderful piece of iron commonly found on top of a Model T engine.

You are probably correct as to the "nickname". The reason I brought up the question as to the difference between a "Monroe" and a "Frontenac", since every picture that I have seen labeled a
"Monroe" the car usually has a white (or some light color) flower petal cut out radiator shroud.
