    Furb, i'm not trying to be an ass but i always refer to the Frontenac as a Frontenac. A Fronty on the other hand is that wonderful piece of iron commonly found on top of a Model T engine.

    ...and in response to your initial question, i say what's the difference?

  27. You are probably correct as to the "nickname". The reason I brought up the question as to the difference between a "Monroe" and a "Frontenac", since every picture that I have seen labeled a
    "Monroe" the car usually has a white (or some light color) flower petal cut out radiator shroud.
