Thanks all for making this such an incredible website. The people, information, pictures, stories, guidanceeverything about it is just great. Its an amazing resource as I contemplate my next wrenching project.<o></o> <!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o></o> I wanted to share a link to an online exhibit re. auto racing in Maine in 1911 that I thought you all would have fun with and find interesting. This comes from the Maine Memory Networkthe statewide digital museum that my organization, Maine Historical Society, runs.<o></o> <!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o></o> The exhibit is at: <o></o> <!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o></o> http://www.mainememory.net/sitebuilder/site/1394/page/2047/display?use_mmn=1<o></o> <!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o></o> The exhibit looks at beach racing at Old Orchard Beach, and hill climbs at Poland Springs. Its got great images. It includes racing Stanley Steamers, and a bunch of other neat old racing cars/enthusiasts. If you use the Zoom tool on any of the individual photos, you can see a huge amount of detail on the cars, people, etc. The exhibit is written for the general public but I think there would be a lot here of interest to HAMB readers.<o></o> <!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o></o> Hope you enjoy.<!--EndFragment-->
