Folks Of Interest Autographs...who ya got?

Had George Barris sign the side curtain on my rpu in 1980 or so plus a pic. Hard stuff to get up here on rare occasions.

 

I have hundreds, many hundreds. Most are racers and other car people but quite a few actors and sports stars. At the California Hot Rod Reunions i'd get autographs of almost everyone in the pages of the program.

Best was Dyno Don and Arnie Beswick signing an 8x10 photo i bought off a photographers booth in the midway. I got to listen to a good 15 minutes of great memories of racing in 1965 at Yellow River.

I have all the American Graffitti stars except Harrison Ford and Ron Howard. Even Richard Dreyfuss has been to Hot August Nights where they have an autograph tent.

I have one like this of Bo Hopkins. One of my favorites.

 

I've got Vic Edelbrock in his 1948 Edelbrock Catalog & a Kinmont Brakes Photo Pamplet. Brakes were $52.50 a Set! I got this from my godfather who was out In California, this was at the 1948 Auto Exposition car Show, he was with Army Air Corp, & was going back to Texas. The Kinmont Brake Pamplet was inside the Edelbrock Catalog. I have Full Set & a Half with some Spare Parts. BigDTexasKid

I had Linda Lovelace sign my tool once. Well just L because there wasn't enough room for her whole name and it was all wiggly cause she was laughing a lot.

I have these and been taking grandson once a year since he's been 6 now 12 to NHRA meet get him a new hat each time and gets it full. He has a room full of hats signed by all his favorite drivers!

Brigadier General Robert Cardenas who flew the B-29 "mother ship" when Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier, I really cherish it, prince of a guy, he was the project manager of the X-1 project. A couple of my heroes, Phil Hill and Chuck Daigh.

 

The only autographs that interests me is people who sign large checks for junk I sell.
I'd also like to have the title signed for a restored 32 Ford.
Other than that we've met some singers and movie stars but getting an autograph never interested me.
