Can anyone tell me which venturi cluster goes on the primary side? Of the two one has the booster tubes (I think thats what you call them) flush. The other cluster has tubes extending below the booster tubes. My terminology may not be right. Sorry. Thanks in advance folks.
Save that top gasket. If fuel leaks around the accelerator pump you may want to cut a piece of the old gasket and double gasket the area between the two front top bowl screws. The bowl has a tendence to warp and leak between the screws. Check the top surface with a straight edge to see if its warped. Even if you can bend it back straight it will warp in the very near future. Besure to use epoxy on the core plugs near the fuel filter. They can blow out after a carb rebuild and blow raw fuel on the distributor.... not good.
