A Japanese manufacturing company, typically has a LOT less "management",
compared to the same size American company. And the management they
do have, makes a smaller multiple of the lowest paid workers wages.

Japanese auto workers, now make about the same as their American
counter parts , which explains why sub-assemblies are imported from Korea, Taiwan, etc.

it has nothing to do with taxes , government regulations , the cost of wages and benefits , uncertain business climate here not knowing what hoop you will have to jump through next , possible upcoming costs of a Co2 tax to fight global warming , etc...while you have to compete with some countries that actually want companies to prosper and don't criticize them for being successful

right now in America success is evil and should be punished , while those who are lazy and stupid are victims and are to be rewarded
