Decent weather today brought out a good crowd to AutoMania 2023. About 6 brave vendors outside and pretty full on the inside. Yes, it’s fairly heavy on tools, supplies, models, etc.- but just enough old tin to keep you looking. Check it out Sat/Sun if you’re nearby.

  3. I went to this swap meet 2 years ago. There wasn't much there that made it worthwhile to drive 2 hours to get there. One, or two, vendors inside had my kind of parts, but most of the vendors were selling reproduction sheet metal, and trim for later vehicles. I didn't go this year.

Given the size of the building, it will never rival Spring Carlisle. Perhaps CE will manage to expand into a larger space nearby. Until then, it’s a mid-winter break from hibernation. It seemed everyone there was enjoying it. BTW, there is a nice antique car museum on the other end of town. America on Wheels is definitely worth the trip.

Thanks for the pics @greenie-reddy. I would also recommend America on Wheels as I spent a few hours checking it out back in 2017. Got in for free so really got my moneys worth LOL
Also isn't the Mack truck museum nearby also? I missed that.

Mack is in nearby Macungie. I haven’t been and I’d check to make sure it’s open.

I popped by today, and was glad I did. It's a nice event that I don't need to spend the whole day at, and I can get to the killer farmers market next door.

I actually don't mind that it is so heavy on tools and stuff. I try to stock up on consumables at events like this, sandpaper, rolocs, stuff like that. I did grab a Gen I Olds to early Ford adapter though. Good day

I went on Friday. Good crowd when doors opened at 12. Lots of tools, toys and yard sale crap. Not much HAMB friendly stuff.

And here is the 2025 rendition. Not much has changed. The Iron Trap guys set up with some of their hot rod parts. I think everyone enjoyed the mid-winter event- sort of a quick fix until the PA swap meets begin, in early March. It’s a great place to meet your friends from NY, NJ, and MD.
I took these pictures 30 minutes before the gates open at noon. By then, a long line was cued up outside - thankfully not too cold. Tomorrow the doors open earlier. Don’t forget to visit the Amish market next door.

Bummed to miss it this year. I did pretty well last year grabbing some stuff I needed. This isn't the best swap meet ever but it's something to do in the winter and the farmers market next door is worth the trip on its own.
