Anybody using the Autometer Cruiser AD gauges, if so can you give your opinion. Is the white pointer on light background with white letters difficult to see? I know they offer a red pointer but wanting to use Art Deco pointer if it doesn’t create a visibility problem for old eyes.
I wasn't familiar with the gauge Auto Meter® 1187 - Cruiser AD Series 3-3/8" Speedometer Gauge, 0-120 MPH (carid.com) but think your concerns about being able to see the white needle on that background easily are valid.
The one's showing on Autometer's site have orange pointers. Maybe the one from CarID is an older model? I certainly understand the visibility issue, and also the fact that the gauges have to look nice. It might be worth considering a different gauge set.
