I have had this trunk advertised elsewhere, but it is advertised as a 20's or 30's stock style restoration piece. Which it is perfectly suited for. It came though, from the estate of a hot rod builder, who I happen to know bought it from another hot rodder, both of whom had custom car visions for it. So I'm listing it here with you guys, with a HAMB price that is at the rock bottom of what I know I can take for it. It has a flip lid and frontal opening. We do not know what kind of automobile it came from, though metal trunks tended to be from the higher end manufacturers. We also could not find a name on the trunk to identify it's maker. Overall, it is solid, though it appears to have had the paint stripping process begun on it at some point. The lid and front section move smoothly, but please note from the pictures that the right hinge is not affixed. On the outside, the trunk measures 41 1/2 inches wide and 17 1/2 inches deep and 20 inches tall at the center highest point of the lid. The inside measurements are 41 inches wide, 17 inches deep, and 14 3/4 inches to the top lip where the lid closes to. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Shipping will be via UPS Ground. We will likely not box the trunk, but we will wrap it in a heavy paper for some transit protection.
