I know this was pictured early on in this thread but got a kick out of it. My Dad was a Moline dealer when these were new. Somewhere I have the sale brochure for one, MM actually stated in their ads "Plow all week, go to town Saturday night" expecting one to use it as a car! I'm sure you could really get the girl driving one of these. Dad said it had an extra highway gear so you could run normal highway speeds in it. Also had a heater and radio available (see the antenna), things unheard of in a tractor then plus an extra seat. Supposedly one of the locals bought one but apparently cut off the cab and fenders and s****ped them fairly early on since they made it too difficult to see the crop rows.
Thanks for the nudge. I hadn't checked in to the build thread on this yet. This thing makes the Tatra look sort of like a soap box derby car.
Heck if I know. It was in an antique airplane museum in Maine. I was there on vacation a few years ago and saw this and had to take a couple of photos. There was no signage on it at all.
I'm thinking it's a factory installed swamp-cooler A/C unit, considering that the car looks like you'd be riding inside of a foil-wrapped baked potato.
the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville is full of stuff like this... if you are into the micro cars, strange design, and generally cool stuff from ugly to beautiful you should check that place out. I fear that is the mount for the blades....Some sort of gyro-copter judging by the yolk sticking out of the floor.

King Midgets, built in my native Athens, Ohio. My brother has a red '67, that was the property of Hemmings at one time.
