"Engineer Marcel Alamagny in the late 40's France designed and built a peculiar symetrical four wheel automobile Two wheels are on a common axle in the middle of the car, powered by a 4-cylinder Simca 569 cc engine. One wheel at the front steers and the one at the rear for stability. "The aluminium bodywork has two identical hinged clam-shell canopies allowing entry for rear facing p***engers and driver/p***enger at the front. "Of its time it was not unique with other engineers/manufacturers designing similar three and four-wheel vehicles."

Thanks from Dennis.
