Like how do you steer it?

 

I can help with that a little.I built the perimeter frame and the basic body shell for the owner,Steve Grimes.Steve marches to the beat of a different drummer.It's a Buick straight 8,TH350,backwards to a banjo rear.Front wheel drive and rear steer.The cowl is a '26-'27 T narrowed a LOT.The rest of the body is all hand made by myself ,the owner,and the late Dave Gale.You have to see this thing in person to appreciate how narrow the body is.
I can't wait to see it Saturday,as I haven't seen it since the body and frame left my shop in bare metal over a year ago. Steve builds his cars as an artistic exercise and more to entertain onlookers than anything else.When he asked me how I thought it would drive ,I told him it would drive like a forklift,and that forklifts drive better going backwards(steering wheels in front of driver).
He Has a great time building his crazy creations and an even better time listening to people as they look at them and try to take it all in.Steve's a great guy and I recommend stopping by to talk to him if you get a chance.
