HAMBers have taken over the basement. The Lander got some pinstripes and Plowboy was outed. A few more guys showed up while I was leaving, more pics tomorrow.

Tried to cover that nosecone but you can kinda still see it in the photo. Roadstar has big plans for that tomorrow Stay tuned Finally got to meet Mark in person and he was kind enough to pose for a photo.

Check out the steering on Foose's car. It looks like there is no tie rod and a drag link on both sides. You can see the bell cranks and rod running under the driveshaft. Also what kind of tranny is that with the shifter offset to the right?
Denise, Neat TWO rock stars in the same picture. Why is everybody questioning the "nose cone" on Chip's car? Isn't it supposed to be themed after an airplane? A P-12 or something? That's a propeller spinner without the propeller. The exhaust stacks are similar to the exhaust stacks on a P-51 Mustang. The man knows how to bring in elements to complete the theme. Live with the nose cone, it'll grow on you. Oh, and Denise, since I voted for you for the Ego-Rama and helped make you a rock star, where is my cookie you promised if I voted for you and your Dad? Cookie! Cookie! Cookie! No, I don't have purple, shaggy fur.
P-40 theme. I'm not sure why nobody can get that right. Even Hot Rod said P-51, despite the fact that their photograph showed a P-40 in the background. This is slightly less gay than your average theme car, but it still would have been cooler as a conventional hot rod. The Lincoln V-12 alone would have made it cooler than average. Just FYI, this is a P-12.
For once we agree apoun something. That grille doesn't "flow" at all. It works on a plane becase theres nothing ahead of it other than a prop. It might work if the wheels weren't aft of it. Either way, it still would look silly, IMHO.
