The "real" High and Mighty Plymouth was scrapped years ago. That one is a repro, built by a lot of the guys that did the original car, using a lot of pieces from the original. Most of them, if not all, went on to become The Ramchargers. http://www.uaw-daimlerchryslerntc.org/resources/news.cfm?NewsID=1259 http://www.cemaclub.org/highmighty/index.php
They were the "Ramchargers" and this was the first in a long line of pretty innovative drag cars they built. First tunnel ram intake.
It's just red window tint from Murray's Auto Parts. They sell it all day long in the ghetto by our clubhouse, but it's not too common in the burbs.
I also think this car is absolutley cool. I also did not expect to recieve the offer to let my kid sit in the car so I could take the picture. Didnt have a camera with me, in my rush to get to the autorama I left it home. Had a chance to meet a few new people there and chat with some Ive met before. Definately looking forward to the billet proof show in june. Dont remember the guy from the POOR BOYS name but thanks for the cool welcome and your collection of cars at the show was realy cool I liked all of them.
FOOSE's Roadster is AWESOME! It's inspirered by world war two eara,,, as if a soilder takes a roadster and builds it with all lincoln parts,,,hence the Zepher everything. The Steering Rules. we had the luck to spend 2 nights going to diner with chip and I have a totaly new respect for him. More sooon...I going to catch up on some sleep. Thanks DANGER! DANGER! Crue for a crazy weekend.
Jeff, it was great seeing you back to your "old" self and enjoying the weekend and EVERYONEs company once again.
Great show this year. There was something for everyone. Drama, Danger, Rulers, Sex, Violence, Rock and Roll, Attitudes, Winners, Loosers, Heart break storys (See HRTH) Old Friends, New Friends, Old cars, New cars, Young people, Old People..... Lets just say it was everything you could want it to be. Hope everyone that was there had as much fun as me
Hey Brush, I never ran in to you... damn! By the way, that A sedan belongs to poor boy Bob Miller (daredevil on the HAMB) of Daredevil Choppers. Tim King was the guy that was lettin kids in Bob's car Both great guys (just ask 'em)
Excellent pics! Thanks for the info on the Ramchargers project, guys. Wish I could've gone. Looks like it was a great show. Maybe next year.
The "boys" are afraid cuz it's tech week that they would get their hands slapped for posting O/T photos...... that and the fact that some of them might be alittle R rated. I have also been told there is a couple of little video clips BUT after they were described to me I don't think they will be made public on the internet.
I have a dozen or so in focus photos I could make public. No nudity. The guilty have had their identity obscured... Some good stuff. I guess I could post some if the demand is high...
thanks for all the inside photos, you gave us outsiders an excellent view and mix of cars, I would expect the foose car to be properly trashed here just because he is foose but i think i like it just fine. the only thing i dont understand is the fact that several guys who were able to participate in such a world renowned show didnt even wipe off the bird shit or crust on the cars... where is the pride in your car, be it custom or traditional , doesnt matter if you love your car as we all obviously do . could it be just lazy? I dont know but overall I would love to have the chance to show in such a show... thanks again ..........for all the great pics..
I've been getting lots of PM's and phone calls asking about the photos and requests from folks about who was who ect. I certainly can't remember it all. Someone wanted to know who was wearing the "Germ" nametag?? Anyway, post the photos, blacking out any nudity or embrassing stuff and if any moderators say anything I'll take the blame.
