Went down tonight to start setting things up for the HAMB area and walked around a bit to see who was already there. Looks like Dave and Fritz made it with the Mysterion and the Roswell Rod, its a great sight to see those two cars together.

Awesome pics. Where the heck have I been?! I haven't heard about that Rosewell Rod being built. Did I have my head buried in the sand and not know it?

Thats the FIRST thing I thought of when I saw that. Let me tell you sweetie, if Big Olds turn out half as nice as this I'll be one happy chick.:D

I can already tell from the very fresh cars there that the tread is really into the browns, coppers, and golds. I'm even more convinced now that I picked the correct color for Big Olds.

Glad to see Fritz made it. When he and I last talked, he was up to his neck in work, plus his tow truck Sub had all sorts of problems.

    Thanks for the pics, Denise.

That car was built by Donn Lowe. It was featured in TRJ 2 or 3 issues back.

That rug under the yellow one looks like the fake polar bear fur we used to use for headliners, package trays and dash tops back in the late 60's early 70's. Someone was asking about that on here a while back. Back then it was like $19.95 for a 9X12 carpet at Sears. Same price as the shag we put on the floors of uh, Vans...

Peace, Piece, and Keep On Truckkin...

Thanks D. He's a guy that's been involved in every single step of building it and not a typical check-book hot rodder.

  27. The Roswell Rod and Mysterion are really awe inspiring up close. I talked to the builder of the Mysterion and he is a really cool guy, with a big tolerance for itching.:D Sorry to have missed Fritz, I would have liked to talk to him about his car.

The cars downstairs were really cool too. I noticed a few I'd seen before.;)

See a lot of you'se guys on Saturday.

I will be there Saturday too. Gonna have to leave work early tomorrow.

I already heard about that silver/gray car. I was told that Foose built it, and the ENTIRE car is hand fabbed - every little tiny piece of trim even. The guy I talked to hadn't seen it himself, but talked to alot of people that had, and the overall opinion is that it will be the riddler winner, but who cares, the real show is downstairs!

Denise, you think your chrome bill is bad, I can only image how much it cost to plate all those parts on the Mysterion... Holy crap.. I love chrome..

Anyone know how much it is cost to chrome a rearend and frame???

take lots of pic.. 300 or 400 should be fine...
