Hey Guys, I'm on my way to New York, Washington DC and Norfolk for a school tour. I have always wanted to go and would like to move to America sometime when I finish school. I have always loved hot rods and cool kustoms and I just bought a 60's ride for me to do up here in Perth. Would be REALLY cool if I could see some American Hot Rods or Kustoms while I am there (would be the highlight of the trip). But I'm not sure what the "hot rod/kustom population" rate is like in these parts. If anyone is around these areas and would let me check out their cars it would be really appreciated. Are there any events on or hot rod workshops to visit? Dates are: From the 6th-9th of April I will be in New York 9-12 Washington 12-21 Norfolk Please pm me Thanks Jay

Nashville TN is not aywhere near Washington DC. HUGE mountain range seperating the two and a few states. Jay, go to the "members" tab at the top and seach members by state and/or city that you'll be visiting and PM this link those who's profiles look like they might be interesting.
I'm in Norfolk. My cars are all unfinished...but I can put you in touch with some people and direct you to where the cars are. Hit me on PM with questions, I'll help where I can.
Not many hot rods in DC. there are some old cars in the museums though. Museum of American history i think.
I'm about 50 miles south of NYC, in New Jersey. Too bad you won't be here on Sat or Sun. we have lots of guys at the shop. Mon. to Fri, I'm in there afternoons, 3:30 to 6 or 7. You're welcome to visit, you can take a train from the city to Belmar NJ, only 15 min away. I could pick you up there. Not much to see in the shop, works in progress, lots of dust and rust! But I DO have the Kopper Kart in my garage! And my 61 Dodge Watson painted custom, my old 55 Olds, and my 46 Chevy in progress.
