1930 ford coupe. Gathering parts to eventually go Av8. So far I have a V8 radiator 50 merc flathead 35 ford trans and bell housing adapter. My plan is to use the stock A banjo. So my question is what pedal cluster should I look for, for the clutch and brakes. Or, since I MAY, stay with the mechanical brakes how could I make the stock A clutch pedal work. I'm not dead set on the mech brakes. I know there's lots of reasons to go juice. As of now I have the banger running, installed the flathead teds kit and just need to drive it to see how they work. Then I'll decide. As far as the motor, it will be just a little warmer than stock with 2 94's. I also know the deficiencies of the A banjo but thats the direction I'm going. Thanks.
why not use the pedal bracket used on the v8 transmission to 4 banger kit. That would use the stock pedals. for me what pedals I use is directly related to the transmission crossmember
Sacramento Vintage Ford sells the kit too. Consists of a pedal mount bracket that bolts to the trans and uses stock pedals and a mount for the stock un-split wishbone. puts the pedals in the stock position, I used it on my avatar a 28 with an early flathead, a 30 pickup with a B motor and V8 trans and my 30 Sport Coupe with an 8BA flathead.
Awesome thanks guys. Joker I have a build thread http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/the-all-business-coop-1930-model-a.974400/
Clings is perfect. I had sticker shock when I looked at the kit as a whole at it was $400 big ones. Then figured out you said he sells the pieces. Mas Bueno. Couple hundred and I'll be in business. Thanks again. Gotta love the hamb.
