Hey guys. Wanted to share a modification for AV8 firewalls that I thought was cool. It was pretty easy too. I cut out the stock banger engine dimple from the Model A firewall and replaced it with the stock flatty engine dimple from a 32, 33, 34 Ford truck. The profile was very similar. Only needed minor hammer and dolly work and the help of a cheap english wheel to smooth out some factory ripples. I will be taking the firewall and a few other parts to Brookville Roadster to get the body built. Plus, the sacrificed truck firewall is still good for a small block transplant. Very excited to start this build. If anybody else has other 'A' firewall mods to share, I would love to see them. Enjoy the pics.
Reversed, indent filled and 1946 truck hood's ford script welded in... bought me an extra 3" to 4" ...
