AV8 motor mount cross member in the way

    And, if the car is being built with early drivetrain on stock axis, like '39 trans and A rear, you don't want to adjust height by arbitrary dimensions. Transmission bolted to torque tube and crossmember set rear height on Model A axis, center of front pulley height can be set to stock axis by aligning it with hand-crank bearing on front crossmember.

    Height needs to be the same but I am useing a T5 transmission. I have one from a 4x4 so that I can still use a torque tube and hide this indiscretion

    Dug do you have a old flywheel lying around? I need one and cant afford a new one. The picture is just a mock up no clutch or flywheel yet!

    you shouldnt be using a t5 out of a 4x4.
