Technical av8 steering

Let’s see your av8 steering shafts/column using a Vega box.

1 u-joint at bottom of column and 1 at the vega box...shaft snaked through the lakester headers.

The column was homebuilt out of stainless steel tubing with a bearing on the top and bottom. I used a cut down original Ford inner shaft.

 

Mines a 35-36 column with 40 ignition switch/lock. There’s a second universal joint at the steering box
