Suddenly today my Avast virus protection claims that every page on the HAMB is a malicious page, and is blocking all images. Anyone else having this problem?

On my computer at work I have had to run system restore twice in the last week as a result of the HAMB. I click on it and the computer goes ******* telling me about viruses and malware and trojans. It even stops Mitchel Manager from working, which is a bad thing because that is how I build and post invoices! I have to restart the computer and run system restore and its all good, but I dont dare try to visit the HAMB any more other than on my phone.

If you guys clear your cache and restart your browser, it will go away... it's residual from a false hit earlier in the week.

  7. Did that....got it again

I cleared my cache and cookies and history, restarted cpu...went to the HAMB and BOOM virus. Locks me out of all programs and some fake virus detector comes on the screen wanting money. only way to fix it is to restart and hit F11 over and over to start system recovery. Did it twice last week and again this morning. ..

Wait, you got a virus this morning from visiting the HAMB? How do you know? Was a name given by your security software?

Yes this morning. Maybe around 7:30 when I got to work. I forgot the name of what it was, some kind of a worm. It completely locks me out of every program.

Strangely enough I just tried it again and no more virus. Crazy. All seems to be working okay now....

We are now doing a complete server scan by software and by hand. I'll report back.

  13. Issue has not shown again since my 2nd virus warning came up.

  14. Reboot into Safe mode....(tapping on the 'F8' key as your system boots...) select 'safemode with networking'

go to cnet.com...do a search for 'Malwarebytes Pro' (only this product.)

install and let it update to the latest database...and do a full system scan.

then...go to google..and search for 'mbar'

    it's a rootkit remover...

    run this too...

it should get rid of all your woes...

these are for Malware...(typically the most annoying problems on todays workstations)

then I recommend Kaspersky...they work well together...

Pretty sure we just confirmed that whatever you got was not from this site. We had been put on a black list by mistake last week and we are still working with all of these different companies to get removed... I think we are finally in the clear there though.
