  4. Mine is the engine of my 53 Bel Air as when I first joined it was the most presentable part of the car at the time. Had fallen into a rut on motivation after trying a particular type of paint to paint the car only to have the paint crap out after id painted the whole car. And at the time the majority of the car just looked like a low buck stock resto to the average person despite custom touches here and there. Now with the new caps and altitude along with starting on getting it ready for paint I know works well (nason ful-thane) and it beginning to warm up I'm sure in the coming months I'll have an avatar of my (in my opinion) out of my league wife in one of her retro outfits posing with it. Last few months progress has even her more motivated to play with it lol

I like to change mine from time to time, as the mood strikes me.
I have shot a lot of photography over the years and have a variety of categories to choose from. It's always interesting to change to something interesting.
From time to time, I will change my avatar to some of my pieces of artwork that I have posted to the HAMB Friday art show.

Here are just a few of those pieces or photos of mine.

My pic is my parts car 39 Chevy I hauled out of a farm field on boxing day years back. I painted it with a $3 can of house paint and an army star just for fun so the neighbors wouldn't have to look at a faded to pink primer shed on wheels. Crazy thing is it's now my project car because it's in better shape than the sedan I started with - and with 3 kids, we need the room.

My avatar is my only Grandson Conner. I nicknamed him Bobcat when he was a newborn, his crying remained me of a Baby Bobcat.
Bobcat was giving Thumbs Up that day bcuz we had just bolted up the NOS 63 Grill on the 63 C10.
The PO had bolted on an ugly aftermarket 1964-66 C10 Crome Grill on the 63 C10, it stuck out like a Red Tail Hawk in a Chicken Coop full of White Rock Hens. That NOS 63 C10 Grill took us several weeks to get ready and looking good, Bobcat was a great help to me for several summers.
I'm a proud Papa of 5 wonderful Grandchildren. I have 4 beautiful Granddaughters and 1 stong hansom Grandson.
I'm very Thankful for each one of them, I'm so very blessed....

I built this between 1968 & 2001 , has 50k miles on it now , hasn't been out of the garage in 4 years ( health&money issues) hoping for this summer to drive it again .. I didn't do the machine work on the block or cut the glass for the windshield but pretty much everything else I did .

Mine is of a little home made tractor I bought off a friend. He had bought at an auction in KS . He had a LA LB IHC engine on it . The original builder had a 4 hp Cushman binder engine on it . The differential is out of an electric car from the early 30’s . The bull gear is brass with herring bone cut teeth . Rear wheels are from a IHC grain binder. I built the cooling tank for it and put my GreatGrandpa’s 4 hp Cushman binder engine on it . I had just gotten home from the homecoming parade in Newkirk so I took a picture of it . That was several years ago. My favorite part of the tractor is the original builder blacksmithed several parts for it . The input shaft support for the diff is a connecting rod that was heated and bent .

1968 Baltimore car show. As I stated in a post long ago, I kept hitting on the go-go twins for a date with no luck. I did win 1st place with my 5-window.

Mine is a photo of my 51 Chevy I built back in 1977-79 when nobody around here was doing anything even close to an early 50s Chevy build. My friends were scratching their heads but I didn’t care I grew up around guys who were building 20s, 30s, 40s and early 50s cars back in the late 50s and early 60s and I was used to seeing these types of builds and wanted to do one like I remembered from 15-20 years before. I am currently in the middle of a complete redo of the and will probably change my Avatar when finished

My wife grew up in West Haven CT so i thought a picture of her collection of tickets from the long gone West Haven speedway was a nice thing to do.
