Oh boy! I'm 57, look 47, think 37, and at times, I feel like 87! At least I can relate DIRECTLY to my current projects, a 51' Chevrolet Business Coupe (the year I was born), and a 56' Chevrolet Sedan Delivery. They say when a man is young, all his joints are limber, except one, and it's always stiff; and when a man is old, all his joints are stiff, except one, and it's always limber. So far that's not true in my case. And remember, old age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill. Butch/56sedandelivery.

  9. I just marked the 51 + circle and see that us old guys are the majority. I'm really happy to see so many younger guys that have what it takes to keep this alive. Keep it up. By the way I'm 60 and started a glass 29 roadster build a year ago, I know thats like against the law but it's a different challange and I'm having fun with it. I'll post some pics in a week or so and you can see. I've built five hot rods in the last 40 years and this is the first glass car. It looks really nice but it's not the same. Still fun though.

  10. I think this hobby/sport/obsession keeps us old geezers young at heart. ;)
And a thumbs up to the young guys that keep the flame lit:),

What seems like a long time when you're 19 seems a lot shorter when your 54.

No more surprised than some of us old timers are that some of you youngsters know which end of a screwdriver to put in your hand.

I'll be 62 in 3 weeks but what's in an age. My brain says I'm 25 but it can't get my body to agree. Of course any day above dirt is a good day.
