Hey guy thought I would share my most recent story. I left for a business trip on this past Monday to charleston SC . I chose to take the old hwy 78 instead of the freeway, I passed a salvage yard/ restoration shop in one of the sleepy towns that you pass through . I decided to stop and explained to the owner that I had a 1939 Pontiac and was always keeping an eye open for parts as well as other cars I may want to pickup . Danny ( the owner ) told me he had a 36 Pontiac in the back as we were walking forwards it I noticed that it was in fact a 39 Pontiac . I have been searching for the fender grills. And other trim pieces for about a year now , he told me he would sell me the whole car for 700 I asked if I could just buy some pieces instead and he agreed. I ended up with a nose cone, nose cone grill , head light bucket trim, the full set of fender grill in awesome shape and other pieces all for 100.00. Danny has a ton of late 40's ford trucks, 34 dodge brother coupe, willys overlander , etc. he says he restores cars but really I think he collects more than anything . Danny is a super cool guy and I urge anybody that in the area check him out. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1447975905.671484.jpg
