The BGBDLINC has been fighting us for weeks (very shy to go public) and keeps coming up with 'issues', shall we say (most are life-threatening). In Toronto the NXNE music festival is about to commence and the venue's sponsors are going nuts. One of those sponsors is Jagermeister and they heavily financed a '50's Kar Kulture party for 800 invited 'industry' guests. They asked Oddball Kustoms to maybe round up a few cars and lend some real atmosphere. This provided a balls-out opportunity for a real roadtest -country roads, major highways, traffic congestion, jammed city streets. A mini convoy with a Model A sedan and a flamed Shoebox and the Lincoln tore into downtown Toronto..... The party/show was held in a parking lot near College and Spadina with excellent graffiti on the walls, mountains of free food, free drinks, tons of free Jagermeister swag, and they paid us appearance fees! It was a fantastic day....now back to resolving some issues before our local tour...
Very cool David, glad to see it on the road. I had a comedy of errors trying to get there Friday, finally gave up and headed for home. Who's green shoebox is that? Saw it in Grimsby last week.
I should have went, but did something else instead. Looks like it was fun. I'm glad you're Lincoln is on the road. Can't wait to cruise with you!
