Thats one bad thing about the 250's and bigger, not too highway friendly in the gearing dept. I know both of mine Uni F250's are 4:56's a little better than 4:88's but not by much. Michael
Hmmm there is someone elses name on the door better send that truck my way! very cool truck man be cool to see it redone as a 250 and not converted over to a half ton! So either way lets see some concept pics of the direction your going?
took the old fella out for a drive yesterday and all was good until I pulled into a parking lot and the air cleaner fell off. If that wasn't bad enough, the air cleaner hit the fan which put a slight bend in the end of it and slit the through on my radiator.. had to have it towed back to the shop as I did want to risk ruining the engine. I am taking it to a guy that fixes and build old radiator to see if it can be recored reasonably, if not I have a few used ones in line. Other than that, the truck drove pretty well except going from 1st to 2nd after making a turn. I have to shift gears partially through the turn or come to a crawl after the turn to shift into 2nd or even 3rd. I need to fix this issue. anyone have an idea?
