axles

    i need 8lug axles that will fit under a 57 dodge truck leaf front and rear

    I'm not sure how long Dodge stayed with the I beam front end but I'd be looking unde 60's Dodge 3/4 ton trucks to begin with and then pre twin I beam Fords. Chev/Gmc went to coil spring front ends in the early 60's so the front ends are out.

    The hardest part is going to be finding axles that are narrow enough to keep the wheels inside the fenders.

    You don't say, either here or on the 'other' thread, what exactly you are looking for. The other thread seems to indicate that 4x4 axles could be used but obviously that completely changes the truck....
    Dodge 4x4 used a Dana solid front through 1993 and the old I beam thru 1968 IIRC.

    it dont matter what they are mycriteria is leaf sprung 8 lug and fits width wise
