axles

hey whats all the buzz on drop axles breaking does anyone know anything about it ? whoms product is it ? has anyone here had any experiance with it ?

 

Bzzzzzz Dropped axles.

Why not try actually asking what you want to know. Like what is one, or where do I get one, or who makes a good product or who's product fails on a regular basis.

Just a suggestion.

Because I cannot answer your question if I donot know what the hell it is that you want to know. What is the buzz is pretty cryptic, it could be that speedway makes an inferior part of it could be that Axles by Sid is a damned good place to get one dropped.

I no doubt can answer your question in 3 part harmony but I have to have a clue what it is.

Sorry some how I missed the breaking part. I appologize.

magnum and bell have both had axles breaking. magnum says that it is a specific run of their axles but that they have no way of knowing which axle it is going to be because they donot number anything and bell axles just seem to be sporadic.

Best off to find a good forged axle and if you are going to put it under a customer car price it so that you can maganaflux it. Or you can buy a good quality dropped tube axle, avoid the ones with the welded in forged ends and get one that is tube from one end to the other. That is a crap shoot if you donot know of a company that manufacturers good tube axles, most of them are produced off shore now.
