thanks- i'd scrolled right past and didn't look at the front-thought it was a packard or such..

 

It must be one of the last ones. I’ve not seen a hood and grille like that nor that particular body.

I tried to zoom in on my photo of the window sticker to get you the information. It was not in the catalog and did not have an estimated value, so I ***ume it was displayed only for the next auction. I am pretty sure the photo above this post is the same car.

 

Thanks. If that is it, and I think it is too, there’s a pretty interesting story behind it and two or three other LeBaron bodied prototypes including a convertible. I’d never heard of them nor seen pictures until you posted that pic and piqued my interest.
