Hello. This might be a dumb question, but can you mount a B 4 cylinder to a Model a ******? I am being lazy and do not want to have to mount pedals etc... Thanks

I've got a B-banger in my '30 coupe hooked up to the stock ******. After driving it for a few months, I'm looking forward to getting a toploader with synchros though. It might be a little more work to set up the pedals, but I think it would be worth the extra effort. Just my .02.

I'm just a banger newbie, but I think you just need to swap on the A bellhousing and the sump?

In my T I have gone a different route ........... Mac's bellhousing, S-10 T-5 and (as soon as we get the deal sorted) one of Dan's closed drive adaptions

I like more than 3 gears and DEFINATELY like more than 2 synchroes

You just need to use the A bellhousing, and trim the rear cover off of the rear of the B oil pan. I have done it a few times Good Luck

I have a B motor attached to an A bellhousing and transmission. The only modification is the t******* of the "lower bellhousing" portion of the B oil pan, and the t******* of the sheet metal plate below the rear main in the A bellhousing to clear the larger cap. Luckily I got a pan that had already been modified so I didn't need to hack up a perfectly good (and hard to find!) Model B oil pan.
