Technical B&M adapter...another what is it thread

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by alphabet soup, Oct 10, 2023.

  1. A buddy of mine has an old B&M adapter. He's looking to find out what it fits. I have a book with listings, but only for Hydro adapters. His looks to be for a Torqflight. Part number is CF-2. Thanks, Gene. P.S. it is going to be for sale, but he doesn't have any of the hardware.

Looked in my old B&M catalog and didn't find a CF-2 part number. Here are the pages with possible matches to your part.

Posting pictures of the mystery part usually helps folks identify it....

I had a look through my '67 catalogue. I did not see any CF-2 part numbers. The only CF designation I came across is the CF-5 Adapter Kit which was a lightweight aluminum bell housing to be used with the 53 Olds hydros.

  6. Thanks... looks like I'm going to have to double check him on the number... old eyes, you know!

@alphabet soup any chance of posting those listings you have for the Hydro adapters?

I'm not alphabet soup but here is what I have. I think any adapter with a prefix of CF is for a clutchflite trans..
