"B" on 1949-1950 ford front grill ?

i was wondering if anyone knew what the "B" represented on the front of a 1949 or 1950 ford sedan grille.

Theres an 8 and a 6 and an aftermarket smooth type.

Obviously, a 9 is an upside-down 6.

 

It stands for "you have to B kidding" Similar to the 710 cap on your valve cover.

 

if you cut the 8 in half, would you get 4?
