B-T Roadster Front Axle

    Can anyone confirm for me that the B-T Roadster's front axle drop, 2 1/2" stated in book, is the dimension from the bottom of the king pin boss to the bottom of the spring perch boss. It looks like more than that in the photos.

    Traditional book, traditional language, I think. Dropped axles were always listed by amount of drop OVER stock Ford, so this would be Ford drop+2 1/2".
    Streetrod axkles are listed by total drop from straight.

    I may be wrong, but the drop on an axle is given in how much lower it is than stock. Most stock axles, a 40 for instance, actually has about a 2 inch drop from the factory.
