I'd consider incorporating those wing mounting fairings into the design of the car. The little front fairing could be the base for the windshield, and then you don't have to worry about your heading sticking way up outside. The rear fairing could be used as a fin.

I was thinking exactly the same thing as I looked at the pics.

the running boards say "T" but it looks like the frame section is kinda tall, so maybe a T truck

i had to stop the project for a while to take a job out in texas. job is over and im back home and will resume. i now have a shop with which i can continue the project. should have a welder soon. i have brought the tank up from the back field and started to disassemble the tank taking out all the pumps, lines, and fairings. i figure its about 100 lbs worth of stuff. its down to just the shell now. i have decided to go with a reverse trike setup. it makes the fairing useful due to the fact that i now have the beginnings of a nice fairing for the rear tire. i will begin on the frame in a few weeks. i have reached a bit of an engineering issue. does anyone know how to setup an automotive type engine with some sort of single rear drive transmission? Help! it needs to be short as possible. i tried to possibly look at the boss hoss bike transmission but the cost and availability is prohibitive. is there a gear box out there that i am missing. im hoping someone has done something like this before. anyway thats my current problem but everything else is progressing slowly.

ok had some progress on the transmission. seems u can take a corvair transaxle and put a couple of pulleys on each side and you have a single rear drive on a wheel. problem solved and i have located a site in newjersey that has a 2 speed automatic. so now the next thing to do is start gathering the tools to build the frame. welder is next on the list to locate and purchase. should happen in about a week or so. next post will be after that
