I can handle christmas music thrown in the mix after thanksgiving and all day long on christmas but not 24/7 from the first of november,I would have went nuts if it was the only station in town but unfortunately ran into it surfing the stations.

I must be lucky-- the only christmas songs i heard all season were one little snippet of a song in a commercial and another in an old movie. Thats enough until next year. I did enjoy watching the grand kids open their gifts -- although theres no doubt they got tooooo much stuff. Have a Red Line new year!

  9. This has always puzzled me.

    CAN'T WAIT

What does this actually mean, when practically everyone who says it, DOES WAIT.

Maybe, "can hardly wait", is really what they mean. :D

My point exactly for this post...
The reason has been forgotten, and I know not everyone is religious but
Isn't that the purpose for this holiday..not WalMart's birthday!

It only becomes "Commercialized Day" if you let it! Sure, we shop, buy gifts, eat too much, and drink too little but our families really enjoy Christmas. We love buying stuff for our loved ones and watching all the kids light up over something cool they thought we were too old to know anything about! The whole family gets together on Christmas Eve for snacks, gifts, and drinks and then again on Christmas day for a big dinner. I guess I am just blessed because I enjoy getting together with all my family and celebrating the holidays.

I have a friend who is of the Jewish faith.. He has a ball at Christmas giving presents. He said " You guy's can not cut me out of being in on the fun ".. on what is a personal note from me. You guys enjoy your family while you still have them. Life is short. I am tire of hearing the song "grand ma got run over by a reindeer" If the mods want to delete this its OK.
