The problem is even without P/S there has to be an idler pulley for the belt to run everything right. I think you can cheat and use the A/C idler that you find on the top of a lot of motors, bolted into where the PS pump bolt goes into the block. Leave the other side loose and let the belt tension hold it into place. That's what I'm going to try on my 350.
gates K060775 is the belt I used and just took the p/s pump off and changed nothing else pm me with your email address and I will send you a pic of my setup
Awsome! looks like that belt fits quite a few applications. From what i see it's for the AC delete setup and i need AC & PS delete. Might have to pull the can off the PS pump and use it as idler?
just take the p/s pump off and go on fleabay and search around for "chevy a/c delete" there are several a/c delete idlers on there and run the gates k060775 belt and your set
cheapest a/c delete I found, is a dorman part so you could order from local parts house but I doubt it would be cheaper than this guy http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dorman-3415...pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr
