Does anyone have a source for a GOOD set of baby moons or smoothies? I've bought 2 sets so far (both imported, haven't found any domestic-made caps), and neither are good.

1st set was so paper thin that they dimpled as soon as I tried putting one on with a soft rubber mallet.

2nd set is a bit thicker, I got them on without dimpling. But I turned a corner & ended up chasing 2 of 'em after they rolled into the ditch. It's not the stock '65 Ford wheels I'm using. My OEM '60 dog-dish caps fit tight, so does a set off a '57.

I'd like to put a set of baby moons on but after 2 strikes and the cost for them, I'm reluctant to try another set without knowing they are better quality and won't fly off.

Has anyone had good experience? And a good source? I'd even consider a set of good used ones if I know they will stay on. Thx

I'm not sure if this may help but some truck stops like Loves and Flying J's have ***orted sizes of them maybe take one of yours and see if any match up they are probably more sturdy.
