I’ve lurked around for years. I think I even made an introductory post in the past. A lot has changed since then. Back in October I had the opportunity to acquire a hot rod. A car Ive dreamed of owning for years. A yblock powered model A five window. Sadly I didn’t build it. My dad knew I wanted a car like this, so when a good friend of his was looking to get rid of it, he got it for me. I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s street rod scene and gravitated toward traditional style hot rods when they came back into popularity. I spent a lot of time as a kid working on old cars with my dad and his friend in the garage. My dad and I also attended the Back to the 50s car show in Minneapolis from the late 80’s until I moved away in the early 2000’s. He still goes most years. Anyway, since everyone likes pictures here’s one of the car as it sits now. I’ll probably change a few things over the years.
