    Hi Folks,
I got sidetracked for a while on my COE project. An early Spring and lots of grass growing forced my hand early this year. I had to get the old Jhon Deere converted to yard mowing mode. That meant taking of the hydraulic front blade and getting to mower deck back on it. That crap is heavy and I'm old so it's kind of a big deal for me. Anyway, I got all that stuff done and did a few mows. I also had tax season to deal with. That too is now a done deal.

I did manage to get the latest pics on my Photobucket album for the COE project, http://s814.photobucket.com/albums/zz61/Darkside-Dave/coe-cab/ as well as getting another video on my Youtube page, go to http://youtu.be/mzfn5Dm_2I4 and look for COEcabRebuild01.MTS

I haven't found another diesel powered rolling chassis yet so I may be going with the chassis from my one ton E-350 diesel van. If I do I think I'll rebuild the engine and go with a turbo. It's an old IDI 7.3 but I can go with it as there is no computer to deal with.

My big thing now is considering a mid engine set up if I go with two wheel drive. Of course all that is way off in the future but it does have some bearing on what I do with the front half of the cab floor and fire wall.

I'm still driving the van so it's kind of hard to just tear it down right now. Pretty soon I'll need to pull off this project and get back on my '53 F-100. I'm already hearing static from the wife about not finishing the F-100 first. OK, so I have a short attention span... What were we talkin' about?
