after a 6 month hiatus, due chiefly to financial suckdom, I have resumed working on the Telstar again as of yesterday......felt great to be cuttin' into some steel again!

I don't have a working computer at this time, so I am borrowing a friends'to post this quick note to let y'all (you can tell I live in Texas now, huh?,,:p:D) know I'm still alive, and more importantly, the Telstar project is still alive,,,,,pictures/updates forthcoming (as soon as I have a way to post 'em

Looks great with color Jim ! I remember seeing it in person in the garage you had back in New Jersey when it was bare metal. Looking forward to see where you go from here with it.

  17. I was afraid the Telstar had fallen back through the space-time continuum. I see that it has resurfaced in Texas. Good.

  24. "Financial Suckdom"?! I can relate to that as easily as your very ambitious and "whole lot'o fundom" Custom build. Your car has been a blast to follow....If I had the talent or the money to undo your changes alone, I'd be vying for the new Title..."King of the Kustomizers". You've done more with one car (respectfully) than George Barris did with a career....Good to have you back in action. I'm not even in your league, nowhere close, but I'm thrilled to watch your efforts and imagination at work. make some money my brother....That car needs to be contiinued. I'm 64...let's get that thing finished!!! Centurion9

Hey Jim,great to have you back again! I think a lot of people on here, myself included, have been having withdrawal symptoms without their regular "Telstar" updates.
