Technical Back draft carburetor identification

    Hello all!
    So I picked up this 2 barrel, thinking I knew what it was off of, 1949-1950 Oldsmobile if course.

    But there's no identification tag, and no stampings I've found yet and it just looks, odd, compared to the other Oldsmobile carbs.
    Any help is greatly appreciated, and have a great day!

    Holley, primarily from a '49-'51 Mercury or Lincoln & ***orted others.

    Looks like its missing the automatic choke parts.

    Looks like a flathead Merc carb to me.

    Looks more like an updraft carb..... The float bowl should be at the bottom..... I think...:confused:
    I could be wrong....:(
