Jeesh it's been a while since I've been on here! Glad to see everybody out there in HAMB land didn't kill each other whilst I was away...I just spent the last two months rehearsin', writin', and recordin' the new CD for my band....man, writin horn charts makes my head hurt! We got down 11 tracks....recorded everything about 2 hours due east of Memphis....same producer on this one as the last CD...Jim Gaines (the same Jim Gaines that produces Santana)....man, it turned out just crazy cool! I can't believe it's actually a Groove Hog recording....it doesn't sound anything like the old recordings....It's kinda gotta Black Crows meets Carlos Santana kinda vibe....I'm not exactly sure when it's gonna come out, cuz we're trying for label recognition on this one, but I'll keep y'all updated and shit.... Work's been progressing pretty steady on the Cadillac Kid (my '30 Model A coupe).....gonna try to have 'er rollin' by spring to race that sucka up to the Back to the 50's....the Caddy mill's sittin on the stand at home and I've started boltin' on all the shiny stuff....and I just got back four of my six chromed strombergs for it today! Marcus, I remember you sayin' a while back that you'de like to see some pics of the chromes mill....I'll try to get some pics up here as soon as I can....It's good to see ya back on here again man...you were still pretty scarce the last time I was on the board....I hope you're luck's turnin' around fer ya....Hey JunkyardDog...I heard a vicious rumor that you're bringin' the Hoo-doo Witch down to CowBoy Bob's shop to keep the "Cadillac Kid" company! I can't wait to see that thing parked right next to "The Kid"! Hey Jake... Yep, the rumor is true. I'm gonna load it up and bring it South. Dad wants to open the shop on Saturdays, and I told him I'd man it for him. So I'll be there most weekends, till his land development thing eases up on him. Workin' on The HooDoo Witch with dad is just a bonus... in more ways than one. Yep ...Counce. It was pretty small man...everything closed in that town by midnite..and I mean Everything!
