Back from the Farm, Rusty T, was it worth it?

    Congrats on a great find!
    Did you have to work on your Uncle for a while to get it from him?
    The attached photo is of a neat Lincoln pu conversion I found in Kansas a few years ago while buying another car from the guy who owned it. The conversion was so well done, you would almost think it was factory.

  2. Wow, thats in a hell of a lot better condition than my A RPU was when I started it. Wish mine was a sports coupe though!!

    Same thing here in WI. Not only is that savable, it's better than what many of us northerners start with(and better than a few of us end up with :D )

    Is during WWII when gas was rationed when you had a truck down on the farm your gas allocation was the differance between an A or B gas ration Stamp. There is a Coupe that has a pretty fast racing history out of Lodi Cali that races at the Antique Nationals running a Hot 4 banger ....with the pickup bed like this still intact. It has been in the same family for years and has a wonderful History as your Model A does. Save it for yourself and the next generation at what ever it costs you....if you don't you'll kick yourself till the day you die! Good Luck with the build...Grandpa would have wanted it that way !!!:)
