Took about a 4 year leave of absence from the HAMB and have recently found myself wandering back. It's good to see some familare names/faces and to see the place still up and running/busy.

I've been taking some time and reading whats been going on and doing searches soaking up all the new tech information thats flooded into the site the last few years and its great. But i think the best thing I've noticed is that the since of community is still here, and thats awesome.

looking threw my old posts from the last 12-14 years, threw old photo books and files of photos on the old computer ive just gotta say thanx to all you guys for having put up with such a green punk kid.

a LOT of you have put way more time, effort, and energy towards me than i ever deserved.
I'm sure I said thanx, but looking back it seems like i should have said it more often or went a little further to show my appreciation.

Dammnitdave, Jrussell, Rocky, Tuck, Hellraiser, Man-a-fre **** the list goes on and on.

from an older, hopefully head less up his *** Tim thank you and please let me know if i can ever do anything for any of you guys.

...you may now go back to your regularly scheduled ranting, *****ing, and trying to find speed parts for flathead 6's that dont seem to exist haha....

Welcome back Tim, the song remains the same here, cool cats and kittens helping each other out in ways not known outside this circle. How was the recent event in Sioux City with the street drags? Let me know if you are aware of how this went. Thanx ~sololobo~

  10. Welcome back.

I had to read while I was in Europe, I think I waited a whole 6 hours or so on the plane, so not sure how you made it four years.

  11. Glad to se you posting again, yes you were pretty green but sincere at the same time. I think that is what made the difference.

sololobo, as far as im aware the event went great! i only had time to heck it out on friday night but i think they ahd something like 500 cars show up, its on the west side of down town so all the streets are two lands with 2 or 3 story buildings on each side so a decent amount of shade. had TONS of cars drag racing though, i was realy surprised at what a nice set up they put together for that.

they repaved the road, put up a christm*** tree and cement bunkers all the way down. it was an 1/8th mile set up but damn some of those cars were quick!

this is a link to the facebook page fo the event, last i checked it onyl had pix of the drags but im sure more pix will surface as time goes on. i didnt take any myself.
