Yesterday, my wife and I completed a nostalgic 240 mile round-trip from Cleveland, OH to ***usville, PA in my '55 Ford wagon to meet up with the gentleman I bought it from back in 2008. Roger was overjoyed to see the car and get his first ride in it since he bought it in Townville, PA then stashed it in his barn in 1978. The car was actually causing quite a stir on the street with people stopping to chat about it. Roger's son, Jay, even showed up to see their project that was never completed. PS: The car ran flawlessly. We ended the day at a brewery up in Verango called, Sprague Brew Works. We had an anxious moment looking for a gas station as the fuel needle dipped to the right, but "Sophie" got us through it all. A memorable road trip and day.
lol, "uneventful" roadtrips are great. Nice of you to bring it back to show him......and us. Thanks for sharing, the car looks great.
